The VFAS1-series inverter has been specifically designed to provide high-performance, including high torque, fast response, high accuracy and excellent environmental compatibility with easy operation.

The VFAS1 range is available for 3-PH 240V AC input and 3-PH 380-480V input for high-torque applications up to 500 kW. All VFAS1-series 400V class inverters have a built-in EMI noise filter. VFAS1 inverters over 18.5 kW have a built-in/attached DC Reactor that meets IEC harmonic standards. This DC Reactor will save power and money by limiting the input current. Typical applications include cranes, mining machinery, crushers, presses, compressors and refrigerators.
The auto-tuning function will automatically optimize the drive parameters and enable 200% torque at zero speed. The drive can withstand sudden load changes and maintain the motor speed up to 40 Hz without sensor feedback and 50 Hz with sensor feedback. Modifying software enables high-frequency output up to 1000 Hz for woodworking and metalworking spindle rotation.
The VFAS1-series inverter has apart from the standard VFPS1 functions, a further two built-in dedicated functions for lifting applications. The brake-sequence function measures the brake time of the motor to ensure smooth start & stop operation. The light-load, high-speed function automatically adjusts the motor speed according to the load. The Learn function will automatically store the settings during operation to improve efficiency.
The PCM programming software allows parameter editing and storage and monitoring and plotting the drive data. The drive's internal "My function" software allows 28 program steps of Logic and Data commands with internal relays, timers and counters. Expansion I/O cards can be added for additional digital, analogue and encoder inputs and outputs.
